As a doctor and a teacher I value practical, realistic problem solving and sensible solutions. I believe we all deserve better representation and leadership than we are currently getting in Olympia. We need to do all we can to support small and local businesses and help them do what they do best – provide goods and services and jobs! Our small businesses are key to getting us out of this recession. I’ll help bring down the government barriers to Washingtonians small businesses. I’ll be a strong advocate for all of us to work together to promote the economic vitality of Washington.

My highest priority is to ensure our classrooms are using the very best, most effective, and most efficient techniques to educate our students. I will champion the constant search for practical, realistic and sensible approaches to make our schools better. I support quality measurements, benchmarks and value based guidelines – our kids deserve that!
